GoPro Hero
Does your shoot require a different point of view? When it’s time for the unusual, the extreme, the underwater, it’s time to put this little camera to work.
Oh, the places it will go. There are so many mounting options, my favorite being the suction cup. It’s a snap to place this in a car interior to get a wide angle view of the driver. Mount it on a car, helicopter, jet-ski. Lots of cool POV options. And of course, it excels underwater. That’s a tightly sealed underwater housing you’re looking at in the picture. The camera will go deeper than I’m willing to take it. It does record sound, but won’t connect to the professional mics and mixers we normally use. So it won’t be used as a primary camera, but let your imagination find ways of using it for your shoot.
We’ve got enough recording media to shoot hours of video in beautiful hi-def. It takes SDHC Class 4 cards, so it’s pretty easy if you want to bring your own media. Or we can easily transfer to a hard drive.
I’m so taken with this little camera, please just mention you saw it here on the website and I’ll be happy to offer it up free of charge. There’s normally a small upcharge for specialized gear, but this is so fun, I enjoy using it and finding new locations for the GoPro Hero.
In the surf of Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Honestly, why don’t you check this out for yourself. Follow the link here. At the low price (it’s $300), you’ll probably wind up buying your own. That’s cool, we’ll still be using ours for many, many applications. Once you get one, let us know what new ways you’ve come up for putting this into play.
